Play notes
Master the classic dual-stick control scheme that defined skateboarding games, blending trick finesse & navigation freedom. Start simple, building fluid combos across iconic environments.
- 1. Setup The Classic Arcade Controls: For direction: Arrow Keys or WASD to move and control your rider. Master the Arcade Action: Z to Ollie/Land Tricks, X to Grab (and hold), C to Grind, and Space to Push for speed. Use the Mouse for camera control (right-hand style).
- 2. Start Free-Skating & Find Missions: After choosing Pro skater, explore each stage for NPCs wearing '!' icons. Approach them and press X (Action Key) to start their challenges – skating through gates, collecting items, or high-scoring tricks within a time limit. No pressure of a main clock means you find goals at your pace.
- 3. Land The Signature Moves: Build your manual for chaining combos: While Ollie-ing with Z, press Z again quick for a Kickflip or hold left/right after pressing Z for a flip trick variety. Then master specials: once Special Meter is full, hold Grind (C) + a direction for wild, character-specific tricks like Tony's 900. Link moves by landing manuals (tap C + left or right mid-air) to extend combos for crazy high scores.
